Blackbird under the bush

Blackbird under the bush

a young bird , a blackbird

I hear her little feet making a busy movement

she makes her appearance , the beautiful blackbird

I see her and two seconds later , there she goes , she’s back again , hiding

making busy movements with her little feet

a sad place in my mind today

a rest on a pink chair in the garden

and oh she is there under the bush

making busy movements with her little feet

stepping by my side to greet me

the beautiful young blackbird who made my inner child smile

a black colour like that of the nights sky

but with a pinch or two of white cotton clouds

segments of white cotton clouds resting on her

a young blackbird it seemed , with her black colour like that of the nights sky with a pinch or two of daytime

resting on her , making busy movements with her little feet

even before I see her I know she is there

I’ve seen her several times before

walking in and out of this place in the garden

I guess maybe she’s found a bit of a home there

I talk to her even before I see her

‘ hello blackbird ‘ she walks out and I say hello ,

Talking to a nice aspect in nature

why not say hello to a blackbird?

      Yellow rose,

I’m so sorry you had a difficult day yesterday. However, I’m happy you had the ‘blackbird’ to say hello to. Nature is wonderful. It can pull us up out of the dumps.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful poem.
