LEFT IN THE WINDS
BEATING HARD
LETTING HARSH TIMES WIN
WATCHING THE PICTURE FRAMES BEND
NEW STAGES START
NEW PICTURE FRAMES LENT
HANG WITH THE OLD
WATCH THE NEW
OR HANG WITH THE NEW
WATCH THE OLD BECOME NEWS
THEY'LL GO THROUGH THE STAGES
I WONDER IF IM OLD OR NEW
SHOULD I JUST STAY IN MY OWN PLACES?
OR SHOULD I WATCH THE NEWS?
WILL I REGRET
EVERY SET
OF THINGS THAT COME MY WAY?
WILL I GO BACK
AND THEN REGRET THAT
OR WILL I RELEARN WHAT TO SAY?
I'LL TAKE YOUR HAND
BUT THE PROBLEM STILL STANDS
BUILDING THE SHIP THAT GOES DOWN

- Comment from author about the poem: at this time, i'd been thinking about how i wish i could be in two or more places at once, not only because i want to be there to experience all those great memories, but also i want to remind people that im still here. but with each choice i made, i regretted each move. the indecisiveness mixed with bitter anxiety made me hate just being there. i wanted to be doing things so i didn't feel like i was regretting everything i was doing. and due to my crippling indecisiveness, i ended up hurting people along the way, when i tried to figure out what i really wanted to do. and im still kind of in that, but i'm trying to figure out how to deal with it.
