without lyrics to decipher
or a music sheet to unravel
those ruins of a melodic love’s, dampened passion
armed with your empathy’s orchestra, of compassion
and your deftly insightful, actions
with sensitivity’s tentative approach, of fractions
gradually – you, resurrected
what was once neglected;
a lung’s stunted, rasping - sighs
healing, under your enticing - directions
fingers, influencing with a gentle - caress,
soothing - time-hardened bruising
awakening – a fluttering, tepid beat
rhythmically – drumming each tentative, step
revitalising – a pulsating heart’s steady rise,
synchronising that symphonic Minuet - connection
until eventually, a resurgently euphoric Allegro
declares loud, with a Tenor's blossoming falsetto
this budding romance, as our story’s: Phoenix crescendo!

here here....
stunning poetry L B;
a little different, swimming in the experimental deep-end
out of my depth, so it took a while
but, defo was worth the wait..
thank you! for your encouraging stamp of approval, my friend
Wow! music for my mind. Thank you.
right?
yeah, that's the vibes I was going with
a lot of saxophone solos, like A. Ayler
accompanied me while editing this over the years;
this is the second time you've identified and highlighted
the musical inspiration behind my scribbles, thank you!
Very good write Mek may that crescendo always bring joy and wonder to all.
Andy
Amen!
as you're a music aficionado, I was hoping you'd like this one
I was going to pair this write with
Pavarotti's 'Nessun Dorma' clip, since those lyrics
reflect the tone of the write, but
I changed my mind.. lol
Revitalizing and rhythmic even without lyrics a good write Mek
nice, glad you found it revitalising
that's high praise indeed, thank you!
An engaging interesting read .., nicely expressed , Mek 🙂
thank you! I hope you had a little fun reading it,
would be nice to return the favour
for all the wonderful reads you share, dear poet
Saving a love through music. A plausible event with the right romantic conductor. An interesting tale of resurgent love and musical appreciation. They say that "music is the shorthand of emotion" and that love is the greatest emotion. The power of one is expressed by the other.
You have married the two, music and love , in a very unique way. And your poem ends on a crescendo. - Phil A.
wow
what a comprehensive, and eloquently succinct
summarisation, of my humble scribble
thank you very much, kind poet
