bliss

picklesthecat

Why did you take my bliss?

There was something so calming to it

I could wrap myself up in it and go to sleep

Without any worries invading my dreams

Without the bliss of my own doing

There’s a shadow that is cast over  you

One that is pulling you away from me

Showing me nothing but the hurt in your eyes

The bliss that I created never prepared me

For what was has happened and all the suffering

The tears that would cover my cheeks were all

A mix of anguish and selfishness

All because I never wanted you to die

My bliss was my escape from the cruel part of the world.

One where I didn’t have to see the grim reaper

Take you away from me forever.

One was you never die and lived happily

Bliss cant escape death

no matter how fast you ran it still all caught up to you

My bliss couldn’t even blind me from what was happening
