Me, My Tears, and the Rain

Me, My Tears, and the Rain

I sit here beneath the crying sky,
The clouds all grey and plain.
No blue sky up above is seen,
Just me, my tears and the rain.

I picture all my failings of life,
My emotions I can't explain.
It's a crazy, uncertain, wild ride,
Just me, my tears, and the rain.

It’s time to reflect about my life,
To examine each scar and stain.
A very humbling time to endure,
Just me, my tears and the rain.

A time of quiet to help me cope,
Let go of old hurt and deep pain.
Time to renew my faith and hope,
Just me, my tears and the rain.

let it all out, in words
begin to heal, renew your zeal for life,
or music or relationships or food, whatever: inspires you
and gives you that taste for life,
simply Try and Try again, until you find what works for you,
    keep striving!
