A familiar place

catt

It seems my path has once again reached a familiar place
The look of sadness and defeat are all that's on my fac
I tried my best this time by far, I gave it all I had
With an open heart and a positive mind I wanted you so bad
My new look on life was refreshing I'm sure I made you smile
What a shame good things only last for such a little while
I wanted to guide you the way that I had come
To show you something bigger but it's easier said then done
Fast forward to today and through no fault but my own
I let myself get lost and now I feel alone.
As usual I created this whole dramatic mess.
And the times that we are happy are getting less and less.
We fail to support each other instead we numb the pain
I can't think clearly with all this fuzziness in my brain.
Each day becomes a nightmare and all hope now lost.
The instant high has once again come at such a great cost.
I'm not sure where to go from here but I do know its time we try
I don't want to miss out on everything chasing that high
No one should turn our laugh to cries
No relationship can be based on lies
The future seems dull when each day wears you out
Constant stress and worry my head full of doubt
Our hearts are meant to bond there not designed to break
But has loving me become something you now fake,
Although at times we drift apart I treasure our time together
I love you more then life itself and will forever and ever
