Staring out Glass

annonymouswonder

Lost in my world, a stranger approaches

He sits in my window and asks kindly for my name

We talk about life, God, and favorite colors

His silver, mine yellow

The rhythm of the pattering rain makes a melody

He sings as loud as he laughs and his smile brightens mine

He leaves before midnight as he has things to do

I'm left alone in my window, the night is anew
