Feel sorry for the wind

The wind outside cries

lonely in the outside world whilst we comfort ourselves with a duvet

she cries , releasing tears into the sky

the wind outside cries

I listen and I think if she had feelings

she’d want to go back to centre

not just be crying in so many places in the sky

Scattered and helplessly out of control

tears falling with a want for more

the wind cries whilst we try to comfort ourselves with a duvet

but maybe just maybe she wants a duvet

she wants to go back to centre

the wind doesn’t want to be something scattered

she wants to be centred and wrapped up in comfort

not in the outside world , feeling alone , bare , vulnerable

without a coat of any kind

and she’s jealous of those who are feeling comfort

have a duvet and a hug

the winds crying

and all alone , wishing for more

and I feel sorry for her

in a way I can understand the feelings of the wind

Dear Rose, what a beautiful poem, with such peace within, actually asking those questions whether she is jealous of those who are under warmth and admitting to the thoughts at all, very powerful and I say Kudos dear friend. Thought provoking and I too like to think of the wind as a lady. Gorgeous ๐Ÿ’–

Lol , looking after the wind because itโ€™s so sad but you have to put up with the wind around you ... thatโ€™s caring ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the comment orchidee ๐Ÿ™‚
