the darkness became my only friend
the one who stayed
when i fell
the one who listened
when i talked
the one who
gave me a place
to be
me
when i thought I didn't belong
everything
everyone
left
even my own shadow
but the darkness
those inner demons
stayed
they stayed
even when i didn't want to...
