Tell me what secrets
Does life hold
I want to know the mystery
Of the soul
Let the spell of creation
Take control
Manifest an existence
That I don’t know
Drop me in a void
As it comes to life
Hold me in the solace
Of this dark night
Watch it give birth
To new sparks of light
Show me where God
Finds His delight
Breathing new purpose
From this ash
Find a new cause
To replace this wrath
Falling in love
Just to form this pact
Realizing the darkness
Too shall pass
Doesn’t seem gravity
Bares much weight
Doesn’t seem right
Just to call this fate
Given new life
And a sharper taste
Canvas is blank
Ready for the paint
So, dash me in color
And watch me praise
Throw me in the light
To shine these rays
Flush as a lover
Who is set ablaze
Conceive in my soul
As love exclaims
Welcome the presence
Of this sweet mist
Bask in the pleasure
Of an endless bliss
Time nonexistent
Within this kiss
As I linger in hope
I can not resist
Eyes wide open
As life reveals
Unfolding realities
Once concealed
Grace overwhelming
Heard my appeal
To give me a faith
That I can feel
Tell me what secrets
Does this life hold
Show me the splendor
Of all you know
Wrap me in peace
As I lose control
A perfect creation
Standing, whole

(what a wonderfully poetic depiction of self-excavated: Defiance
in the face of that alluring ease
of Anger, Victimhood and Hopelessness!
be it faith in 'Something'
or just ourselves
so long as we have something
to anchor our spines upon
we can journey this Perilous existence,
with our heads: held High - looking
for that beacon of Better
in All, the promise our Tomorrow's, may mercifully Bring...!)
its ok, if we can't agree on some things, dear Poet
I still appreciate you choosing to share, your poetic brilliance,
thank you!
