Can’t you see?

TheLittleLeaf

The ground is a part of me.
On which you all are on. You walk, you drive, you fall.
Where the trees stand so tall. The grass grows so long. On which even snow falls upon.
The sky.
Which is a site that most love to look upon.
I trap gasses in the atmosphere to protect the earth
Which you live on.
I cry rain to grow your crops so you can still live on.
Can't you see what I do? Cmon.
I provide so much just to be treated like a pawn.
The luxurious life you live is not going to last so long.
You once beautiful creatures have changed too much.
You once roamed upon me in wonder.
Now, I must ponder what caused you so much hunger.
You all have fed into greed by slowly getting rid of me.
Without my beautiful trees, there will be no oxygen to breathe.
So much greed, without crops, what is there to eat?
Can’t you see? How you are slowly killing me.
I’m dying so obviously. How can’t you see?
Are you deliberately ignoring me?
Well I’ll show you! Just you wait and see!

    Words so adept
    Rhyming all the way
    Natures connect
    Somehow which we disconnect
    It’s beautiful
    Putting emphasis
    Little leaf
    In our run for more
We forgot the most crucial of all

  • spilleronsheet

    It’s lovely
