As My Heart Thinks

CraigJHough86

Woke up early to watch the sunrise this morning, it’s one of the most majestic parts of the day... coffee in hand watching the sunlight slowly come up, if at only for a moment my mind is at peace and my heart is at rest, because the chaos of the day hasn’t gotten to it yet.

Scratch and claw to get the through the day, while the thoughts in your mind wither you away. You keep your head up the best way you can, you’ll even crack a smile when you bump into an old friend. Might get a laugh or two to strengthen your mind, but when you go home and you’re all alone, there’s no where to hide and you feel left behind.

Toss and turn to get through the night, you try to sleep but it’s always a fight, go to speak but nothing comes out right.

The chaos of the day has worn you away, waiting for that next sunrise to keep it all at bay, besides YOU that’s the only majestic part of the day.
