I know all too well
The demons that haunt you
Guilt their favorite weapon
Yeah, they haunt me too
I know how you feel
A prisoner of your past
The friends you thought so close
Somehow, they don’t seem to last
These demons try to steal your power
You can feel it in your bones
In a crowded room you look around
Still, you feel alone
You wonder
Why they single you out
You’ve done nothing wrong
But of your fault they boldly shout
So, fear not my friend
Take your power back
For all the good you are
Your confidence they can’t hijack

Thank you Melvin. I appreciate your reading and comments. 😉
I'm gonna gush! Yesss, you and Fido, the founts of all wisdom!
Is false guilt worse than actual guilt? I must put down this hefty psychology book! heehee.
Orchi, you've been reading up on psychology? Wonderful. Maybe you've learned a thing or two about KP? 😁
Can I ever fathom her out? Why, yes, simple in a way. her outlook on life is 'Me ,me, me!' lol.
May that confidence be filled with love for all around.
Andy
Thanks for reading and your comment Andy. 😉
Me again! KP must be in that book somewhere - 700 pages, and that's only Volume 1. I've not got Volume 2 of the same size!
Even the author says 'Who wants to read 1,400 pages on psychology?' lol.
Oh come on Orchi, not like you haven't the time to read it. KP's counting on you. 😁
