The Journey

NilavroNill

Whenever I walk, wherever I go

I carry a blue sky in my eyes

Blue as the Pacific, calm and quiet

Almost like the hermits, serene and

Sincere, kind and caring, yet…

Like the seagull, flying above

Everything, trivial and temporal

Although I don’t know why I walk

Although I don’t have any destination

Still, I walk along the time scale

Of eternity, even beyond the eternal space

Not even from birth to death, even

Before and after, this walk continues

Like the cosmic rhythms of outer space

Whatever I see, wherever I look

I see only the smile of the innocents

I see only the dreams of the suffers

I see only the hopes of the desolates

Whenever I walk wherever I go

Beyond the graveyards beyond the war zones

Beyond the timescale beyond the space…

"... wherever I look, I see only the smile of the innocents".

It is those smiles that have saved humanity from itself. A great line that encapsulates the essence of your writing. Thanks for sharing.
