Just Because...

15Mason

Just because he has an afro, Jack,

It doesn’t mean you have to be anti-black,

We are all one community,

So don’t you think we deserve equality?

We must have the dedication to fight discrimination,

Whether through education

Or demonstration.

Abolishing Racism is our mission.

Just because he’s from a different village

And has a different heritage

It doesn’t mean you can be prejudiced!!

We all must make a contribution

If we want change to be on the horizon,

Exclusion is not an option!

George Floyd will last in our memory,

This just shows we can have diversity,

Thanks to William Wilberforce, the act of slavery

Was abolished!!

Just because he is indigenous

It doesn’t mean you can cause torture,

And the ethnic minority shouldn’t have to suffer

We must cohere...

If we have a future here!!
