Third Eye Always Closed

Nicky Byrd

Should I if I could?

Would I if I am?

The one to put an end

To myself now I don’t know

These voices are always talking

Bring you to your knees

Now i'm the enemy

Steady making your coffin

You really think i’m bluffing

System of a down

From mistakes deserve a crown

Always down at your lowest

Think bout that time you took your life for granted

All in all now you think you got decisions

Screwin other people tell yourself your winning

Boutta month ago showing your people you didn’t care

Now he’s begging for mercy

Trains coming, hearts thumpin, tears runnin

“Any last words?”

    Time runs faster
Before man could realise it’s worth
    Wishes left for tomorrow
May end up burying with you
The realisation hits hard from your poetry…thank you for sharing dear poet …

Thats exactly what this poem is about, people taking life for granted and not using time wisely, so in order to rest peacefully you make sure when you die you have no regrets.

      • spilleronsheet

Exactly that’s what I am working on…to never regret

Life in a flash, no time for living, the sky has fallen in. Life gives you chances, don't waste them.

Yes yes yes no time to be caught up on anything you dont care about. Live your life for you, not for anyone else, learn to let go, if it's meant to be it'll come back.
