When I say I love you.

Job Welime

When I say I love you,,
I mean, you're the wine that tastes fine in my mouth, the favorite hello and a hug that's always hard to let go of,
I mean I think of you eight days in a week,
I mean we could be in love for a billion life times and I would still look at you as if for the first time,
I mean, I have scrolled through love quotes,I have read a million cute things to say,but none of them perfectly describes how I feel about you,
When I say I love you,
I mean, those three words don't describe the way I feel about you, because you make my tummy do flips and my hands shake, with you I can fully describe goosebumps because you make me experience them firsthand,
I mean,Nobody has ever contributed such a great amount of bliss to my life as you have. With you and you only, I discover a true love,I have never known. I find myself longing to spend every remaining moment on this earth with you. I can’t envision a single day where you are not by my side, because I love you.

And that's what it really feels like to be in love. Been there 54 years now, never regretting one second. Wonderfully penned. 🌹

          if you're not - yet
          a slam poet
its only a matter of time and poetic maturity,
          'in my humble opinion'
and if you haven't tried it yet, give it a go
read, out loud - these wonderful words of yours
see if you can find a supportive community, to cultivate and help your talent blossom!
forgive my overzealous nature, I only meant to encourage and support
don't let me inject that toxicity burden of expectancy, in your life
          just, do you!
          (thanks for choosing to share
its just wonderful to witness your poetry's growth
thanks for including us in your journey)

I appreciate you so much, maybe with time,I will get the courage to stand in a crowd and perform,am very shy in person,it's something I don't like to admit about myself.
