The older man

by.anonymous

A simple glance or a too long look.

You catch my attention and then have me hooked.

A harmless flirt,

a pointless conversation.

I ask your plans and you ask mine.

I say I’m going home to a large glass of wine.

You brush a crumb off of my shirt,

your fingers linger begging to touch.

In those few seconds my thoughts are racing,

I can imagine your fingers tracing,

every inch of my body.

I long for your touch,

I long for your kiss,

I long for our forbidden romance.
