My Second Letter to Heaven

I write my letter to heaven

With a sharp white coated pencil again

This time around, I ask, I ask

Seeing the throne of heaven

Where the giant of giants stays in stars

Elucidating my future to come

Reading the holly Bible

Couldn’t find suitable answers for my prayers

I send my letter to heaven again

Hoping that my rude, hurting questions shall be answered

Please God fix my hurt, broken heart

My heart is broken

The word “love” is taken

My letter is filled with a number of questions

I cry before you silently

Like my silent dream kept surreptitiously

Like my first covenant in the letters to heaven

On my second letter to heaven I ask,

I beg and I cry like a small baby

Better talk to me now

Or will meet in my cold grave

I can’t hold my tears

I’m your child and you’re my Father

And that’s my letter to heaven.
