Old love poem i put in my zine

jark

love is a projection of sturdiness
somewhat secure is where you’ll place your bets
perception of people, they’re so courteous
when their smiles are results of faces bent
impervious to time phonies hide behind cigarettes
smoke and mirrors, find your face in a silhouette
when you turn to your reflection, beget disconnection
your fragments of self have officially atomized
you had some time, had a mind initially
love makes you walk on to land mines deliberately
so your fragility, unawareness of the distance
between their movements and the marionettist’s
makes you the strength
the sturdiness of love is in peoples obsession with hate
