Love

anshibee

And there he stood,

my knight in a not so shining armour.

Though it glistened ever so beautifully under the moonlight,

one could tell it wasn't the armour.

It was the elixir of life,

with its crimson smeared across his armour.

And there he stood,

my knight in a not so shining armour.

Watching me take my last breath,

as I begged for what I longed most.
