Tell me why can't we try and start again?

This can't be how our story ends

You’re too good to say goodbye

Give me your hand before I reach for the sky

I wouldn’t have done all the things I done

If I could have known what’ll make you come

Your numbers don’t pop up on my phone anymore

I hope i’m not the one you’re trying to ignore

I can see you as my happily ever after

Stay with you through all the pain that we suffer

What's the point of both of us being broken hearted?

I should have waited before all my feelings departed

Sometimes I wish we stopped before we even started

Even after all this time i’ve never known what you wanted

The thought of being alone still gives me comfort

I’ll stay away, smoke my lungs and stay under

But if you’d enter my mind you’d wonder

What are these thoughts of you that i’ve plundered
