I Hope

scebrynski

I hope that the silence is deafening

When you’re alone

Your thoughts suffocate you

Choke you up

In the same way that mine do

The kind that wake you up

In the middle of the night

In a cold sweat

Making you question

Whether it was right or not

I hope your thoughts stalk you

Into your sleep

Creep into your dreams

Tendrils of memories enveloping you

Swallowing you whole

Incessantly hammering inside of your head

Something you can’t escape from

Powerfully written. Keep pouring your heart on paper - it’s beautiful to read
