Cream of Tartar

B

My mom said I dress like a hippie.

A hobo.

Are my threads not

up to par with your fashion

as good

as Cream of Tartar.

What if I want to be me?

Be the person I want to be

without thinking that there is a Y-O-U in ME.

I wish I had the heart

in me to ignore your oppose

to my woes but yet

I will still

dress like a hippie just to be

spiteful and witty.

My mom said I dress like a hippie.

Hippies were the true free birds who made their own fashion. Be witty, dress like a hippie.

Your mum's words will haunt you till u become a breakaway which usually comes when you're old enough.
