I Wish I Was You

Ishika Gautam

I stood infront of you,

Your smile stared at me,

It was so confident,

Looked like you were so free,

No tensions in your mind,

The way I could never feel,

You were ready to cry,

But only because of me,

I saw your eyes watering,

And the red bursted gazing,

Looked like you were guilty,

But you were only copying,

Someday, sometime,someone,

Will make you feel needed,

I could never do that,

All you made me was jealous,

I wonder if you would be alive,

When you'll face my world,

I wonder what its like,

When you'll live in colours getting swirled,

Oh the reflection of me,

I wonder if you have any clue,

Oh the reflection of me,

I wish I was you.
