Soaking in Silence

Thejaswini

The gentle hush of the winds
Gave flight to the loveable birds

The sweet chirping of those lyrical birds
Became the melodic song of my soul

The song of my weary soul
Opened doorways to a smile

The unfeigned smile on my face
Gave saddened hearts a deep embrace

Their hearts began to resonate and hum
It was sheer happiness in perfect rhythm

The rhythm turned into a beautiful beat
And that beat was of my poignant heart

Thus I soaked…
In the harmony of nature’s love…
In the euphony of unspoken silence!

    Thanks for sharing….
    Nature so well chorused
    Sang and gave respite
Somewhere my heart began to sing too
But it was the sound of heartbreaking inside
