The gaze still remains

the_leaf008

It scares me

The shadow...

The shadow of someone who was once there

For me?

Who knows now...

For who and for who not the shadows cared,

Feel like sharing everything with the shadow

But when search for it,

Where is it?

Why can't see it clearly in front

Can only feel in the side on a certain distance gazing at me

It's here but it's not

Like a creep sometimes

It scares me

The shadow...

Some of it is inside me

And some parts not

Inner is scared from it

Outsider quietly watch

The shadow once cared for me

But now it feels worse

The shadows...

These are dead

But also dead not,

Time already went away

Fear remains in throat

  • Comment from author about the poem: I\\\'m not an expert in writing poems and this is my first poem too \r\nFor me the gaze can define so many things, it can be a loved someone, a hobby or passion...\r\nIdk but I think it illustrates how a good thing can turn into nightmare sometimes...

like how open and honest you are
    thanks for sharing,
(Why can't *I* see it clearly 'in front'
    *maybe before/ahead of me
    might work better?
or maybe 'see it in plain sight'?*)
    just some suggestions
forgive me, if you find my comment
    in any way, negative
please, consider it the mistake of a well meaning, fool
