Lovebirds

Jay-Lee Jane

Notice of absence from Jay-Lee Jane
just returned after losing my love for writing

The Lovebirds are flying as free as can be:

Floating and soaring above harmonious sea.

Their feathers are ruffled, but they do not falter,

Not even as the groom strides up to the altar.

The Lovebirds are singing as happy as can be,

Perched at the altar for everyone to see.

We listen merrily to their vowels being sung,

As they listen so softly to their hearts steady thrum.

The Lovebirds are nesting as sweet as can be,

Nestled so tightly in an old, nurtured tree.

The Lovebirds are happy – their wedding all done…

Look out for the Lovebirds who are now having fun!
