Dead Friends

Nicky Byrd

Now i’m home alone and i’m chillin with the ghosts I see

Consider them my friends and i know they’ll keep me company

When I don’t got you to talk to I know their understanding me

Know that they won’t judge, only here for love

Their the ones I trust when I feel like giving up

Happens way too often, their my therapy

Hands on my shoulders, they take away my misery

Conversations with the devil those talks always hitting deep

Waking up with blurry vision my world stay leaving me

Wouldn’t mind if I end it all, this life just aint fitting me

Don’t ask me how I am, don’t be surprised when I leave

Comes to a point where fake love is not enough

Checking out your style it's enough to make me fall

Imagine your hand fitting just like a glove

Say you can't stand me so get on your knees and crawl

Wanna play it safe but my mind always leaving me

I’m working so hard just to be on a steady stream

Never lose hope one day imma live like a king

Yea i’m 5’10 but one day you gone look up to me
