You people will never understand me…never

Cause I was lonely since I was one

At the age, when parents admire their baby’s laugh

They went to earn for themselves

I know, they cared about my future

But, now am 18, please let me make choices

Whether I will regret or not, it depends on my choices

If I regret, I will not make you responsible

Despite, you never allowed me to make them when I was young.

And now, you say am talking back

Many of us, are depressed and lonely inside

Hiding the pain, with a big smile on face

And you say, what have you achieved to be depressed?

I know we became too distant

Sometimes, when I try to come close

You say am immature

I want to act sweet and cute for you.

When I want to come out of my bubble,

You help me in making it bigger.

And you always say, I know my child very well..

But, you people never understand me…never…

    I am sure nobody will dislike you
    Let your thoughts out
    Don’t store these frustrations inside
    It’s quite natural to have such thoughts
    It’s a generation gap which can’t be understood so easily
    I hope they can understand
    It’s already hurtful inside when trying to accomplish the desires outside
    But it’s more painful when one is misunderstood
    Remember my friend life may be given by others, but it can’t be lived by others

    Stand fir your dreams
    While staying humble on your feet
    Try to patiently make them understand
    And happiness is achieved by building bridges, and not walls
    If they can’t make bridge
    You break the walls and make the bridges
