Sleeping petals
woken up
by the
gently falling rain,
glistening raindrops
falling off the
unfurling petals...
rain-soaked and dewy
the flower smiles...
welcoming the rain
that fills her up.

Such a contrast for us humans you've brought together here. For it's only on occasion in youth that we enjoy the rainfall, mostly we all have negative feelings about it but who can say that flowers are not one of nature's delights.
Indeed, where would those flowers be without such rain.
Lovely uplifting poetry.
Thank you so much Dusk🥰🦋

Everything is so beautiful after the rain. We don't appreciate as much as we should. Love this poem
