I am the light, in my darkness

I learned the hard way but got the knowledge I need to cope,

God became powerful when I needed true hope,

I had to dig down deep to overcome my past,

The pressure made me weak than my happiness came back,

I've been through pain so much in my life,

My suffering taught me how to live through christ,

My higher power guided me in a direction that was right,

Showed me the way and gave me might,

What I been through is no longer in control of me,

My mind has formed a new way to be,

I am strong my greatest strenght is mentally,

I fight anything that try's to still my peace,

I've lead myself to a better way of thinking,

Anything that don't serves me is not what is needed,

I came out of a dark place and successfully succeeded,

A better way at life I know the meaning,

I got back up everytime I have falling,

I am and will always be the light in my darkness.

    If you are the light then why have you got darkness? Contradiction LOL Or does your light fade away perhaps when you do that fighting you mentioned.
