Anxiety at a PaRtY

Ajacks

My least favorite question is....

"Are you okay? Why don't you dance? Why are you breathing so hard??

Little does that person know that me showing up is big

I'm proud of that no matter how small the victory is. Getting lost in others opinions is easy though...

I go the bathroom at the Halloween Party bawling my eyes out.

The feeling is ridiculous

A few feet outside the door is a different world

Laughing, and dancing echoes

My tears are drowned out by the music

10 minutes later my tears have dried, and I compose myself

The questions start again and I sink more and more into the couch; I hope to disappear.
