Ode to a cloud

AnAlpaca

Fluffy cloud in the sky,
Oh, how you float so high.
Made of water and air,
You look so peaceful there.
Like cotton, you look so soft,
How do you stay aloft?
Puffy cloud in the air,
We'd make a beautiful pair.
Let me lay my head,
On your feathery bed.
Sleep for a time,
Dream up another rhyme.
Gray cloud, dark and foggy,
Sometimes you get things soggy.
But needed rain falls down,
And soaks the waiting ground.
Flowers grow and look to you,
Up in that sky so blue.
So fluffy cloud, float on,
I'll watch you from my lawn.
