Unheard heart

Warm Snowman

An unheard heart sings the loudest.

But It croons to itself as the ones who can

listen, are seldom found.

Like winter nights that yearns for a warm slumber,

It wants to feel the warmth of happiness.

Like how the night sky is empty without the moon

and the stars, it wants a soul to listen to it.

It sings to itself in silence, for the ones who can listen

to it, are seldom found.

  • Comment from author about the poem: When we are traversing through a rough patch in our life, we need someone to guide us, help us, a shoulder to cry on and when our cries for help are futile, we are consumed by despondence. This poem deeply resonates with that feeling.
