I am trapped in an egg

Precariously perched up on the edge of a table,

just one tap and out I go.

Push, roll and jump.

 

Tap, tap can you let me out

break the yolk, swim in the whites.

 

Come on , roll roll

so close to the edge

 

tiny space suffocating

cant breathe.

Roll to the edge.

 

Where’s the edge

drowning in the whites

tap tap break the shell

just one tap and out I go.

 

Whizzing through the air,

on the floor.

Prison shattered, slippery floor.

 

I am free of the egg.
