Cannibal.

kitty the naughty poet

Beware the cannibal,
eating of the same flesh,
instil fear in hearts of men,
favouring animals instead,
there is no mention of this, however,
they all cannibalize themselves.

Eat from the inside out,
starting with the confidence,
that leads to self-doubt,
next to go is faith,
leaving malicious intent in its wake,
then comes the essence,
the mind, the spirit, the core.

Consuming themselves
so all that remains are empty shells
nobody talks about the cannibal
that resides within themselves.

  • dusk arising

The voracious hunger of self doubt. Lets never forget the need to feed the ego with reinforcing pleasures.

  • AnAlpaca

So many levels of hunger besides just the physical.
