Unrequited

melellendixon

Indefinitely
Broken and bleeding out now

Blood drips from my beating heart
Still you stare, silent
Leave me wondering if you
Will ever bleed too
And return my ardor vow
Or leave me to bleed and burn?

Two very heavy subjects for sure. They can teach a lot of lessons, and usually provide more questions than answers.
P.S. Winter is gonna suck this year

Amazing way of putting it..but those are the questions that keep us all going! And I'll take snow over a derecho any day hahaha

      another sincere wording
      of such relatable feelings
      and I really like
      the way you inform us
of the poetic form, you choose
      to express your poetry with
      makes reading your works
      even more instructive and meaningful,
      thanks for sharing
