There were days of lovely sunshine,
And the pleasant subdue petrichor,
The leaves falling of the trees and dancing about in the wind,
Oh! It was a feast for my eyes, certainly something I could never deny
The lingering scent of the cold air in the winter,
and the birds chirping like an orchestra in the town,
A feeling of sheer joy arose in me, like a cheerful merry clown,
A jaunty red whiskered bulbul perched upon the tree,
How I admire her long black crest and the red on the eye!
The eagle screeching and soaring in the sky up high
Looking down the memory lane, I realized that gone were the times of nature's lovely reign
The sun scorched overhead
No sign of a bird
No sign of a tree
No sign of an eagle
No sign of a bee
let's not play the blame game,
Let's try conserve nature , making it our foremost aim
