Let us walk
Holding hands
Along the
Winding paths
By the lake
You and I
Let us walk
Beneath the
Warming sun
The night stars
Blinking like
Distant beacons
Let us walk
Watch birds fly
Through the trees
Leaves shaking
In the breeze
As we tread
The pied paths
Of our lives
You and I
Let us walk
Holding hands
Sauntering
Along the
Lush byways
Of our lives
You and I
Let us walk
Holding hands
Until we
Can no more
You and I

It’s beautiful dear poet
The words so well stringed
The sweetness of love felt and fragrance of first love spread by
Thank you but it was written about the love between two 82 year olds.
Ohhhh
Then it’s eternal love
scenic enough, to be counted
as a cherished memento postcard
of life..
beautiful imagery!
thanks for sharing dear poet
Verbal communication redundant - perfect harmony, perfect connection.
