Dream

Lady Dale

At night as I lay in my bed

A million images fill my head

A whole rainbow of colours, or black and white.

I enter a world with no wrong and no right.

It is a world all my own

And yet in this world I am never alone

There are people i know, people I don’t, and

Many different creatures, of varying lands,

I am in a place with no worries and strife

A place, it can be said between death and life

A place where I am free,

Where I am a God, queen or whatever I want to be.

In this place nothing has to be real

In this place there is so much to feel

It is a place to escape to, a place I can go

When I am a bed, laid down low

But in the morning, most of it is lost

But I am afraid that is the cost

All throughout the day I try to remember my dream

But know that soon, there will be another unconscious stream.
