If the Sun Didn’t Shine

Ake Matt

If the sun didn’t shine

How dull our world would be

At least that’s what they believe

But not I, for I know a truth

The world will go on

The sun will have gone

And what’s left is our youth

If the sun didn’t shine

I might shed a tear

But I would not fear

For I know a truth,

That I would have the brightest light of all

My world would never dull

As long as I had you
