The Lonely Rose

DivineGhost

There was a rose,

Up on a hill,

It sat up there,

From morning 'til,

It stood in place,

Throughout the night,

Temptations held,

'Til morning light,

And through the day,

It sat in lonely silence,

For most, it's flower friends,

Were lost to human violence,

And so the rose did sit,

Up on the hill top,

The rose alone,

Watched daylight stop.
