A Wish

AnAlpaca

I wish upon a star,
No matter how far,
To hold you in the night,
That feeling was so right.
I felt your soft lips,
Memory keeps clips,
Times I held  you to me,
But now, I sadly see,
You're w/ him, hand in hand,
Forever now, I'm banned.
Blocked, you walk away,
But every single day,
Your smile, your eyes,
A most angelic sunrise.
Now days are cloudy and gray,
Here's what I have to say:
My heart belongs to you,
That much is true.
A wish won't bring you back,
All my days, cold and black.

How could they say no to a literate Alpaca? What a shame. Hugs my friend. I enjoyed the read for what it's worth.

Nice way with words dear poet
        So true
If only the heart could hold the swaying heart of other one too
Only if wishes could come true upon a star
        Well penned dear poet
