Resting Light on a Wing and Prayer
Come gentle and come quiet and still
come lay here
just a little while, upon this narrow ledge
of mine,
where eagles, or might they have just been
angels .. hungry
for a slice of sky, did once so very often
feast, then rest,
lament and cry .. their individual Amens ..

Doesn’t allow me to rest for a while

Such an irresistible invitation to climb for a while to places where angels have satisfied hunger in gentle loving arms - -- a gem of a verse Nev to keep and read again when needing a ledge................x

I heard voices sing. That's how good this is. It's almost a stairway to another realm, and how spiritual it's ascend. Solid. Timeless.
