Transfixed

karvelD

an antelope watches

lions feeding by the shore

eating a sister, brother, or mother.

it stamps

sips, looks wary

of self reflections and forever

it lets go

stepping away from gore

and sadness that smother

tears. . .

sorrow. . .

passion. . .

. . .life at the waterhole
