You go, flying free,
How I desire to be,
Jetting at your side,
All others denied.
You roll down the road,
Agility is showed.
Birdlike, you flit by,
The ground your sky.
Unhampered by cares,
Unbothered by stares.
Practicing your hobby,
All smiles, ne'er snobby.
Zigging and zagging,
Laughing and chatting.
A beauty on skates,
The sight creates,
Words of ardor tumble,
Someone so humble,
Deserves only the best,
Forget the rest.
Oh joyous spirt in human skin,
Your heart, I wish to win.

- Comment from author about the poem: My muse loves to skate. The way she moves when on her skates.....it's just magical! I so wish I could see her; tell her how I feel, but the world is the world so I know that won't happen. So I write poetry in the hopes that one day she will see these works. Works made for her.
