Forever Etched🌋

FallenAngel1🕊

The withering glares of a goddess,

melts my stares,so dauntless.

Others see age.

A smile of sage.

On her face turning a page

of her youth with grace.

I will always see the face of a goddess.

As it consumes me,,..forever to be so flawless.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is about how a man see\\\'s his wife in the present day,and although his eyes see the age,the laughlines, ect, ect, just as others do,..by the time it registers in his brain, all he see\\\'s is, and always will see is her youthful face as it was when he met her. This is something new I wrote during a writers block moment.🙂 P.S. Yes it can work the other way too,..a woman looking at her husband, but I'm a man, therefore wrote it from a males perspective. Hope you enjoy✌️🕊 P.s. It also works both ways between parents and their children too.
