Spring's Song

AnAlpaca

Grass of bright green,
Imagine the scene,
A butterfly floats by,
Birds flit across the sky.
Flowers begin to bloom,
I'm not in my room.
Out I go,
Feel life's ebb and flow.
Nights cold, days nice,
Glad to be done with ice.
People walking along the street,
Saying, "Hi," to those they meet.
A late day shower,
Brings an early morning flower.
A cool kiss in the air,
Is something I can bear.
A new spring; a new life,
Please take this strife,
Scatter it to the clear sky,
Let my troubles pass me by.
