Far beyond a lake of clashing thoughts
Of regrets and changing times
I made him up inside of my mind
I think about him all the time
Love dying in my arms, under a sky
Coloured blue
A city of words is falling
Meticulously enamoured by your shadows
I look at the sky and I see angels crying
In the moonlight's tranquil musings I ponder
Between life and fantasy
This happiness grows in me like loneliness
The deepest nostalgia beating
Red chrome sparkling in flickering headlights
Far beyond a lake of clashing thoughts
Of regrets and changing times
I made him up inside of my mind
I think about him all the time
Love dying in my arms, under a sky
Coloured blue.

Beautiful poem ))
Thank you. Yesterday my poem Rainbow Heaven was more unbalanced but homosexually centred, a visual representation of the queerness which joyfully plagues me. I wrote it at my favourite hour when the sky was dark, but was apprehensive about publishing something so explicit. I had been listening to Cocorosie and drinking. I suddenly realised my mind is very descriptive and gay and it was cathartic. This poem, on the other hand, is more like an ocean, and the direction I'm heading in with my writing. I've recently been inspired by Cocorosie's songs and lyrics, and they make me feel less scared and ashamed of my thoughts. Again, THANK YOU.
I don’t judge , Jordan ) It’s a lovely writing .., I’ve never heard of this singer
Cocorosie? They are twins and are so poetically charged. Their albums are true masterpieces of creativity, and they sing and write from so much wisdom and trauma. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone. I truly can't appreciate them as artists anymore than I do, although their voices are unique, almost like Bjork. You need to have patience and time to understand them. They are wonderful women and beautifully eclectic. I'm listening to their song Good Friday right now.
I’ve heard of bjork .. not listened to her in a long time . I will listen to them one day and let you know what I think 🙂
This is really beautiful.
thank you!
